Google loves small businesses!
We love Google, if I had to choose a large company to work for it would be them. Google is making sure small businesses get online with all sorts of initiatives and labs they offer for free.
Our favorite is Google Apps, it allows you to manage your entire office’s communication and collaboration for a no fee or a very low fee. Standard features of Google Apps are email, a calendar, document sharing and sites. However, add-on like Moovia, Short URL, and Box.net for no additional cost, you can’t go wrong with selecting Google Apps.
In addition, Google Webmaster Tools allows you to add your website to Google for search indexing at NO fee. You can manage the health of your website stats and comments; even allows for multiple users. You must be able to verify domain ownership in order to activate; you may to need your webmaster assistance.
Google is not only offering products and services to small business owners, now they are doing a “Get Your Business Online” tour in various cities to assist small business owners to get a website started. Is the tour coming to your city?
